Treatment
Our music video will involve a positive message that expresses the theme of individuality. We will use a male protagonist to act out the narrative. He will embark on a journey of self-discovery whilst chasing his dreams. The video will have a positive ending after large amounts of travelling and downfalls.
Textual Analysis (LIIAR)
This is my LIIAR textual analysis of three indie folk music videos. The videos I chose are Bombay Bicycle Club's 'Luna', Mumford and Sons 'Little Lion Heart' and Daughter's 'Youth'.

Lyrics Timing
"L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N."
Lisa likes brandy and the way it hits her lips 0:13 – 0:15
She's a rock 'n' roll survivor with pendulum hips 0:16-0:18
She's got deep brown eyes 0:19 – 0:20
That've seen it all 0:21 – 0:22
Working at a nightclub that was called The Avenue 0:25 – 0:27
The bar men used to call her "Little Lisa, Looney Tunes" 0:28 – 0:30
She went down on almost anyone 0:31 – 0:33
From the hard time living 'til the Chelsea days 0:36 – 0:39
From when her hair was sweet blonde 'til the day it turned grey 0:39 – 0:41
She said: 0:41 – 0:42
[Chorus]
L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. 0:42 – 0:45
You've got more than money and sense, my friend 0:45 – 0:47
You've got heart and you go in your own way 0:48 – 0:52
L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. 0:54 – 0:56
What you don't have now will come back again 0:57 – 0:59
You've got heart and you go in your own way 1:00 – 1:03
Some people wear their history like a map on their face 1:17 – 1: 20
And Joey was an artist just living out of case 1:20 – 1:22
But his best word was his letters home 1:23 – 1:26
His standard works of fiction about imaginary success 1:29 – 1:31
The chorus girls in neon were his closest things to friends 1:32 – 1:34
But to a writer, the truth is no big deal 1:35 – 1:38
From the hard time living to the sleepless nights 1:40 – 1:43
And the black and blue body from the weekend fights 1:44 – 1:46
He'd say: 1:46
[Chorus]
L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. 1:47 – 1:49
You've got more than money and sense, my friend 1:50 – 1:52
You've got heart and you go in your own way 1:52 – 1:56
L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. 1:58 – 2:01
What you don't have now will come back again 2:01 – 2:04
You've got heart and you go in your own way 2:04 – 2:07
[Bridge]
On my last night on earth, I won't look to the sky 2:10 – 2:14
Just breathe in the air and blink in the light 2:15 – 2:21
On my last night on earth, I'll pay a high price 2:22 – 2:26
To have no regrets and be done with my life 2:27 – 2:32
[Chorus]
L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. 2:33 – 2:36
You've got more than money and sense, my friend 2:36 – 2:38
You've got heart and you go in your own way 2:39 – 2:42
L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. 2:45 – 2:47
What you don't have now will come back again 2:48 – 2:50
You've got heart and you go in your own way 2:51 – 2:54
[Chorus]
L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. 2:57 - 2:59
You've got more than money and sense, my friend 3:00 - 3:02
You've got heart and you go in your own way 3:03-3:07
L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. 3:09 - 3:11
What you don't have now will come back again 3:12 - 3:14
You've got heart and you go in your own way 3:14 - 3:18
(Instrumental) - 3:18 - 3: 44
(Instrumental) - 3:18 - 3: 44
